Manufacturing & Machinery Processes: Cleaner Technologies

Sutton Tools heat treatment use modern Vacuum Furnaces with electronic cycle control operations with a much cleaner technology than the traditional salt bath furnace process. Modern CNC machines - of which some are purpose built within the company - include robot handling function. Pick and place operation not only ensure repeatable quality operations, but also a safer workplace environment.

Tool Regrinding

Bring back to life your high quality precision cutting tools, don't throw them out. Sutton Tools Regrinding and Resurfacing facilities return cutting tools to their original condition.

Recycle

Manufacturing bi-products at Sutton Tools is recycled on site. Oil is extracted from ground waste and reused back into the manufacturing process, and the separated swarf is removed to be recycled. Paper, cardboard, boxes etc are recycled, thereby reducing landfill and costly waste.
